• Increased bandwidth - Capable of supporting data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps over 100m at a maximum bandwidth of 500Mhz (CAT6 can only support 30-50m or 1Gbps at 100m at max. 250Mhz)
• Backwards compatible with both CAT6 and CAT5e – however its important to note that speed will be affected
